MLB Postseason predictions

I figured I should put this years predictions down in writing, because no one ever believes me when I tell them that I correctly predicted who would win. Last year, I was almost perfect... only Houston losing to Chicago in the Series kept my posteason from being perfect. I may have been off on the number of games it takes to advance, but I got all the series winners right,

So here are this year's predictions:

ALDS

Oakland over Minnesota 3-1 MVP -- Frank Thomas

New York Yankees over Detroit 3-2 MVP -- Jason Giambi

ALCS

Oakland over New York 4-2 MVP -- Barry Zito

NLDS

St. Louis over San Diego 3-1 MVP -- Jim Edmonds

L.A. over New York Mets 3-0 MVP -- Nomar Garciaparra

NLCS

St. Louis over L.A. 4-2 MVP -- Anthony Reyes

WORLD SERIES

St. Louis over Oakland 4-3 MVP -- Albert Pujols

I already have people questioning me on St. Louis, considering their late season slide. I cannot forsee the Cardinals, who just lost 3 games to the Padres a week and a half ago, dropping another 3 to the Pads. Sorry San Diego, you got hot too early.

As for Oakland, they are the most complete "team." They have the pitching, hitting, fielding and coaching that makes them a much more consistant team than any of the others in the AL.
